Campbell River Meeting Draws Over 200

newsFebruary 5, 2025

What was planned as a small information session turned into a standing-room-only event. Over 200 people from across Vancouver Island and the mainland showed up at the Campbell River Lions Club Hall on February 2nd.

Chris Scott, a prominent voice from the Alberta sovereignty movement, gave the keynote. The energy in the room was something organizers hadn't anticipated.

"We expected maybe 50 people," said LeTourneux. "This told us something real is happening. People are ready for this conversation."
